SALIDA CIRCUS
Salida Circus will once again bring circus spirit to Salida ArtWalk! Salida Circus will be walking about all day Sat and Sun morning. We will have stilt-walkers, jugglers, unicyclists, sword swallowers and belly dancers roaming the streets.

Street Sheet! community art muralBe part of a spontaneous combustion of creativity. At this community art project, we invite all artists—we are all artists—to play and paint, and create a large canvas mural; supplies provided. Finished piece to be auctioned, with proceeds to support Youth Arts in Salida.Saturday : 12-4pm in front of the old “Unique” on First Street

Colorado Mountain Plein Air Festival Demonstrations
Painters from the CMPAF committee will be plein air painting around town most of the day Saturday, from around 8am and will meet up at 3pm in front of Café Dawn on “G”and 1st Street where a silent auction of the days paintings will take place along with an “Art Battle” until 8pm.
The “Art Battle” will consist of several painters working on 24″x30″ canvases competing against each other painting the same subject (to be announced). This should be an exciting event with audience participation cheering and bidding on their favorite painter and painting. Saturday : 3-8pm ”Art Battle” and silent auction at Café Dawn.
